The building we are presently meeting in was completed and ready for occupancy June, 2003. One month later in July, due to large crowds and inadequate parking, we started a second service. The rapid growth was a blessing, but our new building began to fill too small almost immediately.
The church borrowed 1.3 million dollars to complete the first building and we paid off the note on record time. The final payment was made to pay off Phase One to First Bank of Owasso, October 2007. It sounds as if it was an easy decision and a quick simple payoff. It wasn't. God challenged us to stretch our faith. When we took the "Leap of Faith," God blessed our obedience.
The ballot above is a copy of what was handed out this year as we began to think about beginning Phase 2.
